Finally succes in the 1,10 exclusive

After the succes yesterday in the pokernews cup i give it a try at the 1,10 exclusive tournament. After a 3 hour game i finished 3th and i got a nice email from pokerstars:

Pokernewscup20

After a week with a up and downswing, went from 50$ to 93$ and back to 37. I won a free pokernewscup ticket on the forum.
After a slow start i picked up some nice hands, and create a average stack. After throwing out the funder of the ticket (redwatch)and some nice plays i was in reach of the chipleaders. On 1 moment i was even Chipleader, and after a long strongle i came ITM. I reached even further to the final table but ended in 8th place. Good for a doucle up of my bankroll (63.18$)

Cashgame 5NL

Today i started to play cash games on the lowest limits. Because i lost almost all the sit and go's i lately play. Today i won around 8$ and my bankroll is back to back. This evening i played a cashgame with some forum members. First 6 handed and later 9 handed. Both sessions i have recorded.

Pokernewscup #18 Recorded

Yesterday i won a ticket for the Pokernewscup # 18, with Eastern egg searching on the pokernews forum. I played the Pokernewscup yesterday for the third time, and finally i finished in the top 100. Because i won this ticket i wanted to do something back, and thought it was nice to record this cup. This recordings helps me also to analyze my games, and yes, also this time i have made some mistakes.

This morning i played a 3,30 sit&Go and recorded this again. I played not very well, and i almost was on tilt. I have a little cold, and not feeling 100% maybe that had some effect. But just look this video, and give nice feedback (i already know i made some stupid mistakes)

This afternoon i played the 1,10 exclusive tournament and finished just before the bubble as 29th.

After i seen some recorded video's from experienced poker players (Scriptdude, Edme) i had the idea to do that also. I installed camtasia and did some tests. Well ok shuffle up and deal, and push the record button.
After Scriptdude saw my Handhistory he used a program to analyse and give comments (in Dutch), this is for me a very informative video. And i think worth downloading or every starting poker player. Here are the Download links:

Poker History

I am playing for now three weeks online poker.

On the very first day i won a Pokernewscup ticket on the pokernews forum. The pokernewscup is a 10$+1 MTT organised by the pokernewscrew (check the link on the right). I was out in 5 minutes and only played 2 hands, a disappointment. After this i decided to start on the playmoney, just learn and enjoy the game.

A few days later i was posting on the forum to look for other players who played on playmoney. And i played with Marceldev and Sharkfreak on a low playmoney table. But for them it was too low, and also want to play a game with me. So they sponsered me for 60.000 playmoney chips. (still thanks a lot for that). With that playmoney i won a few sit & go's and become a playmoney bankroll. In two weeks i made 2,3 million of it.

A week later an other forum member Smerdis, wanted a match with me. We decided to join a playmoney sit & go 9 handed. We ended as the last 2 and starst with the HU. The second hand i was holding A3 and he puts me all in. He called with AK. On the flop was a 3 and my first enjoying victory was there. He donated me a dollar, to play a real MTT. (Thanks Smerdis)

That evening a decided to join the 1,10 exclusive (Noah Boeken) MTT. I played really well there, and was lucky with the coinflips and after more than 3 hours play i ended as 5th. And earned 16$.

Last week i sold 2 million playmoney chips or 21$, so i had a bankroll of 37$.

Last monday there was a new Pokernewscup and experienced forum member TheLoon wanted me in the cup. He sponsered the 11$. I played now longer than the first time but after 45 minutes i ended as 180th in this tournament. Still a lot to learn to perform on that levell.

This week i lost a lot sit&go's and only ended 3 in the money (ITM). So my bankroll left is only 27$ One of those Sit n go;s i recorded with camtasia more about that in my next post.

Welcome to my Poker Blog.

I am Vera, and live in a small city in the Netherlands called Leeuwarden. Since a month i am falling in love with the game Poker, and play online a lot in my free time. The reason to open this blog is that i want to share my adventures in online poker with u.

English is not my native lanquage, so sorry if it the English is sometimes not 100 % correct.

In the past i enjoyed, learned shared a lot of poker on a Dutch forum. This forum is found on www.pokernews.nl. For the Dutch readers a real recommendation.

I soon will soon post my poker history, progresses and stories.
